The Reading for Life Institute was designed to meet continuing professional learning needs for those committed to improving the literate lives of children and adults in their schools and communities. It is our belief that all students can become competent readers and writers when guided by effective instructional practices.  This institute moves beyond a basic knowledge of research, theory and practice and into dynamic discussions and creative implementation of standards-framed curriculum, instruction and assessment.
